Man's body recovered from flood water in Langport

A man's body has been recovered from flood water after it was spotted by passers-by from a boat.

Police officers and fire crews were called to Langport in Somerset on Saturday at about 10:10 GMT and recovered the body of a man in his 60s.

Avon and Somerset Police said the death is currently being treated as "unexplained".

The man's family have been contacted and further forensic tests are being carried out, police said.
