Yeovil girl raises more than £10k by running every day

An 11-year-old girl who ran a mile every morning for a month has raised more than £10,000 for charity.
Mia, from Queen Camel, near Yeovil, ran a total of 53 miles (85km) in January in memory of a family friend who died from cancer last November.
Lolly Gilmour, 42, had a rare type of bone cancer called Periosteal Osteosarcoma.
Mia said: "I love running because it is just really fun...[but] it is really hard getting up in the morning."
She faced all weathers - with ice, wind and rain - while getting up at 07:00 GMT to run before going to school.
"I do enjoy it but I like sleeping too," she said.
"It was hard because my legs are sore."
Her mum, Serena, said the family were incredibly proud of her achievement and raising money for a charity "close to their hearts".
"There have been days when she was reluctant to get out of bed and she still did it," she said.
"In fact, she quite likes running in the rain."
Serena said that all of the money raised will go to the charity Sarcoma UK and into researching Periosteal Osteosarcoma.
"We never thought we'd get over £1,000, let alone over £10,000," she added.
Asked whether she has any advice for people attempting a new year's challenge, Mia said: "Just get up and do it because you feel great afterwards."
