Yeovil: Man dies after car crashes into signposts

The man died after being taken to hospital

A 75-year-old has died after a car crashed into two signposts.

Police were called to a report of a crash involving a black Jeep on Hendford Hill, in Yeovil, shortly before 15:15 GMT on Monday.

The man was treated by paramedics at the scene, close to the Quicksilver roundabout, and then taken to hospital for treatment where he died.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
