Wanted man responds to receding hairline in police poster

Mr Kellaway said that there was "no need" for police to mention his receding hairline

A wanted man has appeared to have left a comment joking about his "receding hairline" after a police appeal.

Avon and Somerset Police posted on Facebook asking for help to locate Daniel Kellaway, 28, who is wanted in connection with several offences, including threatening behaviour.

The police description of him referenced his "receding brown hair".

A person claiming to be Mr Kellaway joked about going to Turkey to get his hairline "sorted".

He added he will "catch up" with police following the surgery.

Mr Kellaway is wanted in connection with several ongoing investigations, including driving offences, criminal damage, and threatening behaviour.

Commenting from his own Facebook account, Mr Kellaway responded: "No need to mention the hairline guys, I'm heading turkey to get it sorted then we will catch up."

His response received 186 reactions from members of the public, with people adding "I shouldn't laugh at this, but I am" and "have fun in Turkey".

Police have not responded to his comment.
