Nicholas Roddis denies online bomb research

A 26-year-old South Yorkshire man has denied researching how to make a bomb.
Nicholas Roddis, of Maltby, Rotherham, pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey to a charge of engaging in the preparation of an improvised explosive device.
The offence is said to have taken place between January and November 2011. Mr Roddis is alleged to have researched ingredients, equipment and sources using a computer at a local library.
He was was remanded for trial at Woolwich Crown Court on 14 January.
Mr Roddis, who appeared in court by videolink from Wakefield Prison, was arrested by officers from the North East Counter Terrorism Unit in March.
