Barnsley stabbing: Man in court charged with murder

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a 43-year-old who was stabbed to death in Barnsley.
Stephen Riley was found injured in Darley Avenue at about 23:00 BST on Friday and died in hospital.
A post-mortem examination found he died from a single stab wound to the chest, police said.
Martyn Wilson, 37, of Monsal Crescent, Barnsley appeared by videolink at Sheffield Magistrates' Court.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 2 July.
Julie Evans, 40, also of Monsal Crescent, is due to appear at the same court charged with assisting an offender.
