A man has been charged with the murder of Lazarus Makono
A man has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing in Barnsley.
Lazarus Makono, 26, was found seriously injured at a property in Cooperative Street at about 01:20 GMT on Wednesday and died at the scene.
Terrance Mlotshwa, 27, of Ripley Avenue, Derby, has since been charged with murder and will appear at Sheffield Magistrates' Court on Monday.
A 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday remained in custody, South Yorkshire Police said.
Two women, aged 20 and 25, and a third man, 32, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in relation to the incident.
They have since been released on bail.
