Doncaster: Pedestrian, 83, dies weeks after being hit by car

An 83-year-old pedestrian who was hit by a car in Doncaster has died more than two weeks after the crash.
The man was struck by a grey Toyota Corolla in Station Road, near to the junction with Thompson Terrace in Askern, on 7 February.
He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police said the man died on Tuesday.
South Yorkshire Police said the driver was assisting officers with the investigation.
The force has asked anyone with information or footage of the crash to come forward.
