- Published
Two people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in an early-morning attack in Sheffield city centre.
Officers were called to West Street at 03:20 GMT on Saturday to reports of a stabbing and a man, aged 26, was taken to hospital with "serious" stab wounds.
South Yorkshire Police said officers had recovered two knives near the scene and arrested a boy, 17, and a man, 18.
They are being held on suspicion of wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon, police said.
A force spokesperson confirmed the cordon in West Street had been lifted but said a scene was still in place in nearby Pound's Park.
