Rotherham: Boy, 10, seriously injured after being hit by car

A 10-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Rotherham.
The child was struck by a white Audi A4 in Broom Road, in the Herringthorpe area of the town, at about 13:10 BST, South Yorkshire Police said.
A section of road has been closed to traffic while officers carry out their inquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dash cam footage from the scene is asked to contact police.
