The Duke of Gloucester has led a service of remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire to mark Armistice Day.
Thousands of people, including veterans from past conflicts, attended the service, at the new Armed Forces Memorial, external at the site in Alrewas.
The wall records the names of 16,000 servicemen and women who have died on duty since the end of World War II.
Ceremonies have taken place across the UK.
They have honoured all who have fallen since World War I, including the 110 servicemen killed in Afghanistan in the past year.
