Staffordshire County Council announces tax freeze plan
- Published
Plans to freeze council tax in Staffordshire have been announced.
The Conservative-led county council said it planned to freeze its part of the tax to help families and local businesses.
Leader Philip Atkins said the council had taken into account residents' concerns.
The government has put forward plans to help council tax stay the same by providing funding to councils who proposed small tax increases.
