Young people have been causing violence and throwing objects at trains at a Staffordshire rail station.
British Transport Police said there had been an increase in anti-social behaviour at Kidsgrove station in recent weeks.
A spokeswoman said young people aged between 11 and 16 were believed to be at fault and said their behaviour had been "totally unacceptable".
Patrols in the area are increasing and schools are being contacted, she said.
