Stoke's Donna Louise Hospice a 'lifeline for families'

The mother of girl with epilepsy has said her daughter is "'coming on leap and bounds" thanks to a Stoke-on-Trent hospice supported by Children in Need (CiN).

Georgia Cotton, who suffers from a form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, regularly visits Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust's (DLCHT) Treetops centre in Stoke-on-Trent.

The care the centre provides costs £170,000 a month and last year received a £77,045 CiN grant to use over a three-year period.

Her mother Tracey said she does not know what they would do without the services offered at the purpose-built building in Trentham.
