Plans have been put forward to expand a cemetery in Staffordshire to cope with future demand.

Cannock Chase Council said the district was running out of grave plots and would reach capacity in 18 months.

It plans to expand Stile Cop cemetery in Rugeley to create 400 new graves on land it already owns nearby.

The development would cost £45,000 and is part of wider budget plans that are subject to consultation until January.
