Lottery grant for Staffordshire community cafes

A project which aims to give residents a place for a coffee and information has been given £142,000 lottery money to expand.
Community Cafes, in Tamworth, Staffordshire, will set up new sessions in Glascote and Stoneydelph.
Organisers have already set up cafes in Amington, Belgrave and Wilnecote.
The project began in 2007 and is a drop-in service where people can get information on local services and join in activities.
