Fire crews are tackling three grass fires on Cannock Chase in Staffordshire.

They started near Marquis's Drive, Brindley Heath, just before 12:00 BST, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue said.

The service said about 30 firefighters were "making good progress" in dealing with the fires.

Station manager Dermott Hogan said there had been no injuries and the service was now investigating the cause of the fire.

Last month Staffordshire Fire and Rescue said it had been called out to more than 70 deliberate grass fires in a week, which had put pressure on its resources.
