New bishop of Lichfield installed at cathedral service

The Right Reverend Dr Michael Ipgrave has been installed as the new bishop of Lichfield.

He is the 99th bishop of the Lichfield diocese which covers Staffordshire, Shropshire and the Black Country.

He was installed at a service in Lichfield Cathedral at 11:00 BST after completing a 40-mile pilgrimage from Stoke-on-Trent.

Dr Ipgrave said it had been "a joy" walking and meeting people en route.
