Newborn pups dumped in car park 'exposed to carbon monoxide'

Five new born puppies have been found abandoned in a car park in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

Only two of the newborn litter, which were found in a box in Baker Street with their eyes shut and umbilical cords still attached, have survived.

The RSPCA said a vet who examined the pups believed they had been exposed to carbon monoxide.
