Walleys Quarry: Mum overwhelmed at landfill court case success

A mum said she was 'overwhelmed' after winning a High Court battle over noxious gases emitted from a landfill site that risk shortening her son's life.

Rebecca Currie, who lives approximately 400m (1,312 ft) away from Walleys Quarry in Staffordshire, said she is delighted her son Mathew will be able to play outside and breathe fresh air.
