- Published
A man has died after his motorcycle collided with a car on a stretch of the motorway in Staffordshire.
Emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway of the M6 near Keele Services, between junctions 15 and 16, at about 12:20 BST on Monday.
The motorcyclist, a 65-year-old from Wiltshire, was confirmed dead at the scene, Staffordshire Police said.
An investigation has been launched and the force has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
The collision led to the closure of the carriageway but all lanes have since reopened.
