Tributes to 'loving' motorcyclist after Burton lorry crash

The family of a motorcyclist who died after his bike hit a stationary lorry said he had a "real zest for life."

Sam Bagley, 23, died at the scene on Wellington Road in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, following the crash just before 06:00 BST on Thursday.

The driver of the lorry did not require treatment from ambulance staff, West Midlands Ambulance Service added.

Paying tribute, Mr Bagley's family said he was a "loving fiancé, brother and son."

"Always up for anything with a real zest for life," they added in a statement.

"There are no words, all our hearts hurt."

Staffordshire Police has appealed for anyone with information or dashcam footage to get in contact.
