Woman trapped as van crashes into Trentham bungalow

A car has hit a bungalow trapping a woman underneath one of the collapsed walls.

A second woman was also hurt when the Ford Tourneo hit the home in Pacific Road, Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, during the early hours of Sunday.

Fire crews worked to make the building safe and police said neither of the two women were seriously hurt.

Five teenagers have been arrested in relation to the incident.

Two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.

A 15-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl were also arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and aggravated vehicle taking.

All five teenagers have been questioned and released on bail.

Staffordshire Police say they are keen to speak to anyone who may be able to help with their investigation, particularly anyone with footage from the area at the time of the incident.
