Stafford astronomer's garden gateway to the stars
An amateur astronomer has said he never tires of looking at the night sky from his garden observatory.
Tim Treadwell had two professional observation domes installed at his home in Stafford, after seeing them in Hawaii.
“I’ve never got over the awe and wonder of the fact that the universe passes the bottom of my garden every year," he said.
Mr Treadwell was inspired to take up astronomy after observing the night sky on camping trips as a boy with his father.
