No further action over Ipswich Caribbean Club arrest

Detectives investigating a shooting at a Suffolk club have renewed their appeal for witnesses after a man on bail was released without charge.

The 23-year-old is the fifth man to be arrested and then face no action over the incident at the Caribbean Club in Ipswich.

A man suffered a gunshot wound and four others were hurt at the club in the early hours of 19 December 2009.

The arrested men were all from London. Four were released from bail in August.

Anyone who was at the club overnight on 18 to 19 December or in the area between 0300 and 0500 GMT should contact Suffolk police.
