A £185,000 maintenance project to clean up flood gates in a Suffolk town has been completed.
The Environment Agency work involved removing the gates at Horseshoe Sluice, Yarmouth Road and Handforth Sluice near Portman Road in Ipswich
An "eel pass" was also installed in the Horseshoe Sluice to help eels move through on their way to spawn.
Project manager Andrew Usborne said the work had been completed on time despite recent bad weather.
