Major blaze at Suffolk recycling plant
- Published
Firefighters are tackling 120 tonnes of waste on fire at a recycling plant in Lackford in west Suffolk.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue was called to the site between Bury St Edmunds and Mildenhall shortly after 0600 BST.
The building, measuring 30 sq m (320 sq ft), and containing recycling waste and machinery is said to be well alight.
The fire service say they will have to use a mechanical digger to open the doors and gain access to the building.
The cause is not yet known.
