A whale which died after being beached on the Suffolk coast has been taken away to be rendered.
The fin whale died on Sunday after getting stranded at Shingle Street near Woodbridge.
The 10m (33ft) long animal, which weighs about eight tonnes, was loaded on to transport.
It is being taken to Stoke-on-Trent where it is due to be rendered, possibly for biofuel.
Harnesses were strapped around the whale to lift it on to a low-loader.
