Proposals are to go before planners for two greenhouses to produce 7,500 tonnes of tomatoes a year at a £30m plant employing 200 people in Suffolk.

Sterling Suffolk plans to build the greenhouses on land next to the B1113 between Great Blakenham and Bramford.

The greenhouses would cover nearly 50 acres (20 hectares) of land.

Mid Suffolk District Council said it would consult on proposals before presentation to the planning committee.
