Plans have gone on display for a wind farm off the Suffolk coast.

Up to 172 turbines would be built as part of the East Anglia Three site, which would be about 42 miles (69km) off the coast from Lowestoft.

The plans are on display in Woodbridge, Bawdsey, Burstall, external and online, external.

Scottish Power Renewables and Vattenfall, who are behind the scheme, are already awaiting a decision from the Planning Inspectorate on its East Anglia One wind farm.

Up to six individual projects could be set up in the area, known as the East Anglia Offshore Wind Farm Zone.

Andy Paine, programme director of the joint venture, East Anglia Offshore Wind, said: "The feedback we receive is important to helping to shape our overall plans."
