The car crashed in a pond at the entrance to Framlingham Castle
A car driven by an elderly man crashed into a pond near a Suffolk castle.
Suffolk Police said it was called at about 12:15 GMT to a report that a silver Kia Sorento had rolled into Castle Pond, near the entrance to Framlingham Castle, Framlingham.
The car appeared to have veered off the road, across a small green area and into the pond.
Members of the public helped free the driver from the car.
He was treated by ambulance crews and taken to hospital as a precaution, but was not thought to be injured.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said: "A crew from Framlingham attended a report of a car in water following an RTC at the above location."
Police said it was a single-vehicle collision.
Work on the first stone castle at Framlingham was started in the 12th Century.
In the 16th Century, Mary Tudor inherited Framlingham from her father, Henry VIII, and rallied her troops at the castle to fight for the throne after Edward VI died.
