Rattlesden death: Murder suspect husband released on bail

A man arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife has been released on police bail.

The arrest followed the death of Mary Taylor, 70, at her home in Rattlesden, Suffolk, on Monday.

Suffolk Police initially arrested her husband Ian, 73, on suspicion of assisting a suicide before quizzing him on suspicion of murder.

Neighbours in the village described them as a "devoted couple". Mr Taylor was released on bail until 24 August.
