A teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 16-year-old boy.

Harley Barfield suffered stab wounds in a car park in Haverhill, Suffolk, and died two days later in hospital in Cambridge, police said.

The boy accused of attacking him, also 16, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday.

He was remanded into secure accommodation until a plea hearing on 10 March.

A provisional trial date was set for 19 June.

"So many people loved him, you couldn't fault him."
