Wickham Market: Body found in field after search for elderly man

A member of the public discovered the body at about midday on Sunday

The body of a man has been discovered in a field by a member of the public, police said.

The death of the man, who was found near Wickham Market, Suffolk, at about midday on Sunday, is being treated as unexplained.

Officers had been searching the area for Calvin Baxter, a 78-year-old man, who had been missing since Friday.

Formal identification of the body is yet to take place, but police said Mr Baxter's family had been informed.
