Giant turbine winds its way through Suffolk streets

The second of three abnormal loads, destined for a new power station, has been moved slowly along narrow streets.

Video showed the turbine - about 330 tonnes and 11m (36ft) long - winding its way carefully through Suffolk on Sunday.

It left Ipswich Docks at 06:00 GMT and travelled at speeds of 10-20mph (15-30km/h) until it reached Hill View Business Park in Claydon. The entire load, including the turbine cradle, was 80m (262ft) in length.

People gathered to watch the load pass by.
