'Mug fanatic' Lee wants to expand 300-strong collection

Care home staff are calling on donations to help a resident expand his collection of mugs and cups.
Lee Lambert, a tenant at Wellbeing Care's Dell View in Oulton Broad near Lowestoft, Suffolk, has been collecting mugs since he was 16.
The self-styled "mug fanatic" has amassed more than 300, which are displayed in every room of his home.
Wellbeing Care regional director Joy Henshaw said the care team "always look to support where possible".
"We started hanging up cups on the wall now because we've run out of space," said Lee's care worker Carl Andrews.
"He helps clean them and we have quite a few rare cups, actually."
Jane Whittle, service manager at the home, said the collection was "marvellous".
"It's nice to see Lee get so excited when he sees a new cup or if there's one that he wants and we try and search for it," she said.
Presents are always an easy choice, as Ms Whittle said: "We know what to buy him for Christmas."
Following on from World Kindness Day on Monday, staff at Dell View are hoping to receive donations from the local community to help Lee expand his collection.
"Across all of our homes, we encourage our tenants and residents to maintain their hobbies and interests, as we can see what a huge impact it can have on their confidence and happiness," said Ms Henshaw.
"If you happen to be in the East Suffolk area, and fancy creating a bit of space in your home whilst doing a good deed and making Lee's day, we'd be more than happy to accept your donation of mugs."
