The weather warning stretches across four counties in the East of England

A yellow weather warning for snow and ice, meaning disruption is possible, has been issued in parts of the East of England.

The Met Office said spells of snow and icy patches might cause travel problems and a risk of falls between 17:00 GMT on Thursday and 11:00 on Friday.

The warning is in place, external across parts of Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.

A light snow flurry fell in parts of Norfolk and Suffolk on Wednesday.
