Fire crews were called to a fire on a crane 50 metres (164 ft) in the air at the Port of Felixstowe.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue were called at about 13:00 GMT to a fire in the motor room of one of the port cranes.

Six crews attended and firefighters were expected to remain in the area for some time, the fire service said.

The Port of Felixstowe said the "small electrical fire" had been extinguished and there was "no significant damage" to the crane.
