Sheep killed with hammer and stolen at Middleton, Suffolk

Police are appealing for information after a sheep was killed with a hammer and stolen from a field.

The attack took place in Middleton, near Saxmundham in Suffolk, between 12:00 GMT on Wednesday and 11:00 on Thursday.

The sheep was killed by a club hammer and taken away, with the hammer left on the footpath near Mill Street.

Police are asking for anybody who knows who is responsible, or saw anything suspicious, to contact them.
