Reduced speed limit on A14 Orwell Bridge due to strong winds

The Orwell bridge has remained open, with a reduced speed limit in place amidst strong winds from Storm Henk

A reduced speed limit has been put in place on the A14 Orwell Bridge near Ipswich due to strong gusts from Storm Henk.

National Highways announced the bridge would not close, but a reduced limit of 40mph (64.3kph) would be in force from 16:00 GMT until 20:00.

An amber weather warning has been issued for the East of England, external.

The Met Office has also warned people on the coast to take care near large breaking waves.
