Vandals have used catapults to damage cars, businesses and homes in a spate of attacks across Tandridge.

Officers have linked 10 incidents of criminal damage in the Lingfield and Bletchingley area.

In the latest incident, a stone from a catapult was fired at a woman driving her car in Uverdale Road at 1400 BST on Monday.

Surrey Police said it is thought a catapult or similar device was used in the attacks.

Insp Elaine Burtenshaw said: "This is not a trivial matter. It is reckless and irresponsible behaviour."
