- Published
Residents are being urged to be extra vigilant following the theft of York stone from two homes in Surrey.
Surrey Police said York stone paving slabs, worth about £500, were taken from the front garden of a property in Thursley overnight on Wednesday.
In a similar incident in Frensham in August nine coping stones, also made of York stone, were taken over a two week period.
The force has urged people to call police if they see anything suspicious.
