Elderly man dies after three-vehicle crash in Lightwater

An elderly man has died after a crash involving three vehicles in Surrey.

Surrey Police said the 90-year-old driver of a Ford Fiesta suffered fatal injuries when his car collided with a BMW and a motorcycle on the A322 in Lightwater at 9.20 GMT on Friday.

He was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, east London, but later died.

Officers have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
