Surrey's green homes share ideas
- Published
Surrey's greenest homeowners will open their doors to share best practice with others.
Residents can visit about 30 energy efficient homes in an event organised by Action Surrey, the energy advice service.
Ben Wood, the project manager, said: "Some of the houses are old, some are new, some have won awards.
"Others are just your average family home, but all offer plenty of energy saving ideas."
John Furey, the council's cabinet member for transport, said: "There really isn't a better way to find out how you could save money on your energy bills."
The open weekend is on 24 and 25 March.
