Four people have now been arrested over a cash robbery in which £45,000 was stolen

Two men have been arrested after £45,000 was stolen in an armed robbery from a cash delivery driver in Surrey.

The money was stolen on 30 January in Tattenham Corner when the driver was assaulted and threatened with a weapon.

A 20-year-old man, questioned for armed robbery, has also been arrested on suspicion of burglary and money laundering.

A man in his 40s was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary and money laundering.

Both men have been released on bail until 23 July.

Two other people, a woman in her 20s from Battersea, south London, and a man in his 20s from Brixton, south London, were also arrested. They have been released on bail until 17 September.

The robbery happened at about 10.30 GMT on 30 January outside a Co-operative store in

Police said a Chevrolet had been seen circling the shops earlier in the morning. A man was then seen to jump out and attack the delivery driver.

The victim was assaulted and threatened with what was thought to be a firearm, police said.

The Chevrolet was later found abandoned.
