UK storms: Surrey flood recovery centres set up

Flood waters surrounding Chertsey are now receding amid better weather
Seven flood recovery centres have been set up across Surrey as the level of the River Thames continues to fall.
The Environment Agency still has a number of flood warnings, external in places where river levels remain sensitive to further rainfall.
The recovery centres are positioned across the Runnymede, Elmbridge and Spelthorne council areas.
They offer information and advice to help with the effects of the severe weather.
On Tuesday, a temporary flood barrier in Chertsey was dismantled.
'Chertsey sausage'
Water that had filled the inflatable tube was pumped back into the Thames "in a controlled way", said police.
The aquadam, nicknamed the "Chertsey sausage" by locals, was installed to protect 200 homes on one side of Bridge Road from the Thames.
At its height, about 15,000 litres of water a minute was being pumped away from properties.
The flood recovery centres are located in Egham, Chertsey, Walton-on-Thames, Laleham, Staines, Sunbury-on-Thames, and Shepperton.
