Scott Wilkinson's body was found in the River Thames on Thursday

A man found dead in the river at Walton-on-Thames has been identified as Scott Wilkinson.

The 48-year old was pulled from the river last Thursday and a post-mortem examination found he died from head trauma.

Six people have now been arrested in the murder inquiry.

His family said: "Scott, a son, brother, father and grandfather was dearly loved and will be truly missed by all of his family and friends."

A 17-year-old boy was the fourth person to be arrested on suspicion of murder after being held by police on Wednesday.

On Monday, a man aged 21, and a boy, 16, were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.

A 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed until 29 September.

A woman, 36, and a man, 34, were held on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and have been released on bail.
