Bexhill Colonnade re-opens after renovation

The works are part of a wider scheme to regenerate the seafront

A seafront landmark in Bexhill has re-opened following a £3.5m renovation.

Kent-based Neilcott Construction led the works on the Grade II listed Colonnade, which was built to mark the coronation of King George V in 1911.

Rother District Council said the works were part of a wider scheme to regenerate the seafront.

The project also involves the construction of a new rowing club boathouse and a terraced lawn area alongside the De La Warr Pavilion.
