The home that inspired the Winnie The Pooh stories and where Rolling Stones member Brian Jones died is for sale for the first time in 40 years.
Cotchford Farm, a Grade II-listed house in Hartfield, East Sussex was bought by Winnie The Pooh author AA Milne as a country retreat in 1925.
Nearly 45 years later, Jones drowned in the swimming pool at the house.
Believed to date back to the 16th Century, the farm is on the market for about £2m.
The area around the house is commonly known as Pooh Country with many locations in AA Milne's books thought to be based on places like Ashdown Forest.
