A man has been charged with murdering a 52-year-old whose body was found in a flat in West Sussex.

Tattooist Jan Jensen, who was visiting from Denmark, died of a stab wound on Thursday in Belmont Close, Hassocks.

Unemployed Kayden Smith, 27, of Belmont Close, has been remanded in custody by Haywards Heath magistrates to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday.

Sussex Police said officers had contacted the Danish Consulate, which was supporting Mr Jensen's family.
